Logistics from Mato Grosso to the Port of Paranaguá

As Brazil’s leading grain-producing state, Mato Grosso plays a central role in global agribusiness. To ensure efficiency in the flow of commodities, BrasEng Commodities coordinates a structured logistics chain that connects the state’s vast production areas to international markets.

Grains such as soybeans, corn, and wheat are first transported by road to the intermodal terminal in Rondonópolis, where they are transferred onto the railway system. From there, cargo trains carry the commodities directly to the Port of Paranaguá, one of Brazil’s most important export hubs.

This integrated model — combining road freight, rail transport, and maritime shipping — optimizes costs, reduces transit time, and guarantees a reliable supply chain from the heart of Brazil’s agricultural region to buyers worldwide.
